RuleBuddy PlanAssist Standard is a specialized CAD-based tool built on Autodesk’s AutoCAD OEM platform. It helps architects and planners efficiently create and pre‑format building plans and perform compliance checks against local bye-laws and regulations.
This plan is designed for individual users and streamlines plan accuracy, error detection, and regulatory conformity—all within a familiar AutoCAD environment.
Perpetual License
With the perpetual license, you make a one-time payment and gain permanent usage rights—no recurring subscription fees. This type of license becomes a permanent asset in your toolkit, boosting your return on investment over time.
Updates and technical support come via an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), which you may renew each year for continued service.
Warranty & Support
The warranty for the perpetual license is tied to the AMC: during the AMC period (typically one year), you receive software updates (e.g., bug fixes, enhancements) and access to online technical support.
Once the AMC expires, updates and support are no longer included. To continue receiving these services, you must renew the AMC.
